  I cannot express how impressed we were with the facilities & the event.
All front-line staff were so helpful & friendly, the accommodation was great the chapel & grounds were perfect and the food both in the bar area & at the reception was first class.

  We had the absolute best two days here for our elopement. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The bridal suites are absolutely faultless! Spacious and romantic. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and helped make our day perfect. If you’re looking for a more intimate Gretna wedding, then this is the place for you.

We came a couple of weeks ago to get married, and everything was amazing. The whole day was perfect. The room was gorgeous and the food was lovely. The table was set up beautifully. I could walk down the aisle on my own and surprise my husband in my dress as they organised everything. Special thanks to the member of staff who rescued me when we had problems tying my corset.

  Can't fault the mill forge at all. From the minute we arrived until we left, we were treated like royalty. My daughter’s wedding went without a hitch, planned to perfection. The evening menu has a great choice; the wedding meal was superb. The rooms are clean, tidy, very comfy bed, good shower. A well-stocked bar, and all the staff were so professional, and nothing was a problem for any of them. We will definitely be back. Thank you all for making my daughters weekend extra special.

  We chose the Mill Forge for the destination to marry and we are very thankful and glad that we did. They made us both feel welcome and looked after from when we arrived for lunch the day before our ceremony to having the evening meal the day before to breakfast to the ceremony and after. Truly was a magical unique and personal experience. The bridal suite number 31 was beautiful and a perfect place for us to rest and get ready. The meal on our wedding day was delicious, and everyone was very friendly. A huge thank you to Carrie, Sandy, Debbie and Complete Bride as well for making our day special and the receptionist for helping my now husband with his buttonhole. We will remember you forever and be sure to pass through in our future.

 We got married here beginning of August. Perfect from start to finish, staff were amazing, especially Fiona who was lovely and put me at ease on the day. They arranged everything with one of the packages they do, piper, photos, hair and makeup, absolutely faultless, we stayed in the bridal suite room 33, which was massive and spotlessly clean, massive whirlpool bath and shower with twin sinks and four poster bed. Food was lovely, would highly recommend anyone wanting an intimate wedding or a big wedding or even a few nights away in a lovely setting. Beautiful gardens, nearest shops I think are Gretna maybe. We will definitely be back for our anniversary. Thanks so much.

  We got married at the Mill Forge on 7th August it was perfect from start to finish. We had a beautiful bridal suite with complimentary bottle of fizz and chocolates which were a lovely touch. The wedding meal was delicious, the ceremony was very special, and we were guided through what would happen on the day. The staff were very welcoming and friendly we had a great and very special day thank you to everyone who contributed to this.

We got married here just the 2 of us on the 26/7. From booking and right up to the wedding itself, everything was stress free and well organised. The bridal suite was clean and spacious, food was delicious and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had the best day and definitely recommend The Mill to other couples for their special day.

  We visited for a wedding, and the location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was good quality and the staff throughout were amazing - so friendly and happy to help. I would recommend this hotel as a beautiful place to get married!
